Mountain Biking Durango
Published in Digital by Falcon Publishing ()
Average review score:

Mtn biking Durango, and moreThis book does a fine job of giving the mountain biker many ideas for rides around town. But its real value is in the high-country rides, which abound in the San Juan Mountains surrounding Durango. I've also used this book for hiking and trail-running. You need an odometer to know exactly where you are on the ride in relation to the book, but on most trails that's not a problem. If there is a criticism of this book, it is that there are not enough easy rides. The author lists a few in the back, but not with much detail. Many of these rides are not for the beginner.

Registered Landscape ArchitectA beautiful book evoking imagery of a time past that had been very instrumental in inspiring and providing access to America's love and appeciation of nature. My Good Night Christmas: With Read & Sing-Along Cd
Published in Hardcover by Standard Publishing Co. (August, 2001)
Average review score:

Amazinq!!!I bought this book and CD for my 4 yr old daughter for Christmas. I buy lots of children's books and music and this book and accompanying music is the finist quality I have ever come across! Through narrative bible stories and classic Christmas carols, Christ's birth is proclaimed in an imaginative and entertaining way. My daughter will stay in her room for over an hour and listen to the music and follow along in the book. It is by far her most favorite audiobook! She listens to it all year long. I'm trying to find more titles by the same authors and I'm buying more copies for my nieces. You cannot go wrong - it is a winner!!!

My Good Night Devotions: 45 Devotional Stories for Little Ones
Published in Hardcover by Standard Publishing Co. (January, 2001)
Average review score:

My Girls LOVE It!I have two daughters (4 and 1 years old) plus a 10-year old step-daughter. All three of my girls absolutely adore this book! Each devotion consists of a story about the kids on Apple Tree Lane, a "Thinking Time" for questions about the story, a "Praying Time" for talking to God about the lesson the story teaches, and a "Sleeping Time" that is a fun activity to go along with the story. My one-year-old loves finding Night Light, the cute little critter that leads you through the devotions. We love the book so much that I've purchased a second one for my step-daughter to keep at her house.
